The point of connection is the contractually and technically defined interface between the customer installation and the network, and therefore the reference point for connection capacity, metering, settlement and compliance with connection requirements. All project power figures should be explicitly referenced to this point, since transformer and auxiliary losses lie between the battery and the POC. In practice, point of connection, connection point and transfer station are not always used with clear separation.
