A battery rack combines several modules into a DC string and normally contains a disconnector, fuse, contactor and its own BMS level. Multiple racks are connected in parallel and routed to the PCS via busbars. In everyday use, rack is often confused with pack or string; the exact meaning must always be taken from the supplier's system topology.
